Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data 4J Solutions collects through the website 4j-solutions.hr, why we collect it and what rights you have. Our products have their own privacy policies; the one for the Zvrk app is available here.

2. What data we collect and why
- Contact form. Name, e-mail address, subject and message, so we can reply to your inquiry and prepare an offer. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in responding to inquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Spam protection. The contact form uses hCaptcha, which processes technical data such as your IP address, browser information and interaction with the form to tell people from bots. Legal basis: legitimate interest in protecting the form from abuse (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Analytics, only with your consent. Google Analytics 4 collects data about your visit, such as pages viewed, approximate location derived from your IP address, device and browser type and the referring website, using cookies. It is loaded only after you click "Accept" in the cookie banner. Legal basis: consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw consent at any time using "Cookie settings" at the bottom of the home page.
- Fonts. The website loads its fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser sends your IP address to Google when the page opens. Legal basis: legitimate interest in displaying the website consistently (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Server logs. Our hosting provider automatically records technical data (IP address, time of access, requested page, browser type) to deliver the website and keep it secure. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

4. Who receives your data
We use the following service providers, who process data on our behalf:
- Web3Forms, which delivers contact form messages to our e-mail;
- hCaptcha (Intuition Machines, Inc., USA), for spam protection;
- Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC, for Google Analytics (only with consent) and Google Fonts;
- our hosting and e-mail providers.
We do not sell personal data and do not use it for advertising.
5. Transfers outside the EU
Some providers, such as Google and hCaptcha, may process data in the United States. These transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or on Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.
6. How long we keep data
- Inquiries: as long as needed to handle your inquiry, and no longer than 2 years after our last contact. If an inquiry leads to a contract, we keep the related data for as long as the law requires.
- Analytics data: according to the retention period set in Google Analytics, at most 14 months.
- Server logs: according to our hosting provider's retention period.
7. Your rights
Under GDPR you have the right to access your personal data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability and to withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal. To exercise any of these rights, write to info@4j-solutions.hr.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP), azop.hr.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always published on this page, with the date of the last change at the top.
